Kougui

Originating from Bogotá, Colombia, and currently based in Brazil, Jorge Bautista began his musical journey immersed in the raw energy of Drum 'n' Bass and Jungle. Over time, that structural intensity evolved into a deeper calling, drawing profound inspiration from the cosmovision of the Kogui people—guardians of the sacred Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta. As the founder and organizer of Torus Festival, he is deeply committed to shaping the underground culture. KOUGUI is a psychedelic entity shaped as a true frequency ritual, delivering a dense, highly complex, and danceable sound driven by dark, obscure sonic landscapes and aggressive experimental waves.
